Ula was founded with the conviction that providing a friendly, comfortable and creative space where individuals can casually interact with community members is equally important (for customers, employees and the community at large) as offering delicious coffee and tea, creative pastries and treats baked fresh on-site every day, and hearty soups, sandwiches and salads. Ula Café responds to the neighborhood’s appeal for a comfortable and attractive all-ages community haven that serves affordable and high-quality eat-in or take-away food and drink. At Ula, we strive to consistently achieve an operating profit. We support and empower our employees with comprehensive training, fair compensation, merit-based advancement, and improved future job readiness skills. Ula will participate in creative collaborations with the entrepreneurs, artisans and artists of The Brewery and greater Jamaica Plain and Roxbury.
